Job Position – Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

– Basically, I run the whole show in the finance department—accounting, treasury, cost control, the store, you name it.
– Keeping tabs on daily money stuff? That’s me. Payroll, bills, chasing payments, making sure we’ve actually got cash in the bank. The works.
– All the Light Fields accounting and financial systems? Yeah, I’m on top of that—watching, tweaking, reporting, making sure nothing blows up.
– Reports, budgets, reforecasts… I own those too. Deadlines aren’t suggestions, so I make sure everything lands on time and doesn’t suck.
– I’m always peering into the future, figuring out our cash flow, who we might need to borrow from, and where we can actually invest a buck or two.
– Making sure we’ve got enough in the piggy bank for whatever the company needs—whether it’s payroll or a shiny new espresso machine.
– Oh, and pricing? I keep an eye on how our stuff stacks up against the competition, making sure we’re not giving things away or scaring folks off with sticker shock.
– Direct the analysis of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans and agreed targets.
– Compile key business metrics and report on them to management.
– Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
– Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company.
– Ensure compliance of accounting and internal audit practices with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
– Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents and information.
– Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies.
– Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
– Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
– Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
– Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests through, providing financial data and financial modelling to simulate financial scenarios for management review.
– Experience in Odoo ERP software
– CFA certification is a plus
